Point Well Taken

Since 1947, Rocky Point Restaurant has been serving up
good food with a side of incredible views just 10 miles south of
Carmel along the magnificent Highway 1.  With the installation
of flood lights along the cliffs,  Rocky Point has become
a visual feast for lunch or dinner with inside or outside dining.
A large menu offers just about something for everyone
and for all ages so no one leaves hungry or disappointed.
And, outside paths and sitting areas are available for those
that just cannot tear themselves away.   So whether you are
cruising along Highway 1 or staying nearby, it is worth
the stop where the Blue Plate Special is the backdrop of
the Pacific Ocean and is served up every day.

Bermuda

A relative of mine just recently moved to Bermuda.
I tried to be happy for her but I am afraid my shades of green
were shining like a glow stick as I talked to her about
the beautiful pink sand, the pastel buildings, the breathtaking
beauty of the water....and now I can use the excuse that I
must return due to "family obligations"!  Lucky me!

And, when I go I will have a tough time choosing amongst
these wonderful hotels located on Bermuda's beaches...
Elbow Beach
Newstead Belmont Hills
Fairmont Southampton
Hamilton Princess & Beach Club
Rosewood Tuckers Point
And coming in another year, you can add St. Regis and the
re-opening of Ariel Sands to
the list of beautiful hotels

stay right here in Bermuda." - Mark Twain

Taking It Easy In Corfu, Greece

On a recent Mediterranean cruise,
one of our stops happened to be at Corfu.
Unlike some people, we cannot get enough of
the beautiful Mediterranean so a perfect day for us
was to jump off the ship and straight onto a private
boat. We went throughwww.dailycruisescorfu.com
and we could not have had a better time!

Once we were picked up by our captain, we were
taken across the bay to the beautiful North East
Coast where we enjoyed the incredible view,
swimming, and snorkeling in small caves.

A little further up the coast we stopped at a
quaint beach which is only accessible by boat.

While we swam and enjoyed the peacefulness of this
cove, our captain was busy cooking up a barbecue
which consisted of fresh fish, a Greek salad, grilled
prawns, Tzatsiki, gilled feta on top of bread and wine
that came from the captain's private vineyard.

Our appetites were as full as the feast for our
eyes on our scenic journey off of the Greek coast.
As we sailed to the next destination, we vowed that
it would not be our last time at this beautiful place.

HAPPY SAILING!
