Oh Hello, Ojai

Surrounded by beautiful hills and mountains and situated
between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara is the town of
Ojai.  No chain stores are allowed in Ojai in order to promote
small businesses and to keep the town unique which it does
with its spiritual retreats, outdoor activities, restaurants, shops,
art galleries and design companies.  If those reasons are not
enough to get you to Ojai, then Ojai Valley Inn & Spa will
not only get you there, but keep you there!

What started as a private country club and golf course
in 1923 became Camp Oak for military training
for a battalion of 1,000 Army troops in 1942 and
after WWII became a resting and recuperation facility
for the United States Navy.  After it transferred back
into a resort in 1944, Ojai was considered the top
spot for some of Hollywood's finest stars.  And, in
1952, Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy starred
in the movie "Pat and Mike" which was filmed at
the Inn.  Many other well-known guests have visited
Ojai Valley Inn including musicians, politicians and
dignitaries from all over the world.

But, it wasn't just the resort's facilities and surrounding
landscaped that caught the eye of many, it was also
the golf course which has held seven Senior PGA
Tournaments over time.

Ojai Valley Inn has received many awards for not
only its golf course but for its accommodations as
well as for its spa.

Once you go there you will want to say "hello"
to Ojai over and over again.
