What Happens In Vegas.....

Well, thanks to Prince Harry, what happens in Vegas apparently
doesn't stay in Vegas anymore.  I guess he hadn't taken their
slogan ads for the past ever-how many years to heart??
Whatever the case, I decided to check out the place Prince
Harry called home while in Las Vegas and see just what
made Harry so jubilant on his recent visit!

When Steve Wynn opened his Wynn Hotel, he
had created a statement of luxe sophistication
in Las Vegas that made heads turn.

No amusement park-type themes or gimmicks are found here.
It's completely unique, luxurious and timeless.

One step onto the Wynn property and you already
understand why Steve Wynn's properties have all received
Forbes Five-Star for award-winning accommodations.

Walk into the lobby of Wynn and you immediately
will notice the level of sophistication and quality...

....that is matched by the impeccable service which begins
the moment you check into the hotel.  No one is allowed
into the Towers where the rooms are located without identification.

Also located in the Wynn Towers is the Forbes Five-Star
award-winning Spa at Encore.  Your pampering begins
the second you walk into their entry and continues
with their selections of massages, body scrubs, hydration
therapies, facials, hot and cold plunges,
experience showers and deluge showers.

You actually want to get to your appointment early just so that
you can relax in this tranquil place that seems so far
removed from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas.

All of that gambling might make you grow a few grey
hairs as you watch your chips disappear but never
fear because the Wynn and Encore Salon offers everything
from barbershop services, hair and make up services,
waxing, nail services and treatments for the hands
and feet.

And, if you are a bride, you can have your whole bridal
party styled at the salon.

Their saunas, steam rooms, fitness center, fitness classes, facials,
organic juice bar, signature massages, designer treatment rooms,
garden villas, and couples rooms makesthe Encore Spa a
haven of peace and tranquility for the mind, body
and soul.

The pool at the Wynn is for hotel guests only.  So, making
an escape to the pool is a peaceful haven as well.

Slot machines sit amongst luxurious decor.

The Race and Sports Book Lounge offers you the chance
to wager on curent and future U.S. sporting and racing events.

I figure, if I'm going to lose money anyway, then
why not lose it in style here??

Walking around you are struck by the beautiful
mosaic and marble flooring.

And, let's hope you win big time at the tables because at the
Wynn and Encore Resorts there are plenty of ways to
spend that wad of cash you just won.

With stores like Chanel, Chloe, Chopard, Dior Homme,
Louis Vuitton, Manolo Blahnik, Rolex, Hermes and Loro Piana
you are sure to spend a little bit of those winnings.

And then there are the dining options throughout the Wynn
and Encore Resorts. There are over a dozen
restaurants to chose from at the Wynn Resorts.
I have chosen my favorites... Such as The Country Club.

Elegant dining for lunch and dinner.

I got such a kick out of the golf tee toothpicks that
were in my sandwich that I just had to photograph them.

The magnificent view of the Wynn Golf Course waterfall
is the perfect backdrop for the food and wine served.
The beauty inside of the restaurant equals the beauty
on the other side of window.

For fine Mediterranean food, it seems Italy is just a short
walk away at the Bartolotta Ristorante Di Mare inside
of the Wynn Esplanade.

Fish is caught just off the shores of Italy in the Mediterranean
and flown over daily to Bartolotta.  The catch is showcased in
authentic Italian dishes.

Sit amongst the elegant atmosphere in this bi-level restaurant
or have a table outside beneath the arbor and next
to the pond.

Botero is a wonderful steak and chops restaurant
run by star chef Mark LoRusso.  It's located
on the Encore Esplanade.

Sinatra is located just steps away from the Encore
lobby and is another place to enjoy classic Italian
cooking that has been taken to new heights.

This place would make Sinatra proud.  And, for
all of you fans of Old Blue Eyes, his music
is piped in continuously while you dine.

Sinatra's chef likes to combine different dimensions
and layers with infused oils and spices that
make dishes like "Branzino" (which
is grilled Mediterranean sea bass, spring vegetable
ragu, cannellini bean puree and pesto) one you
want forget.

And if you can find one speck of space left in you,
then you will truly love the Tiramisu they serve at Sinatra.

Allegro is a casual and elegant dining experience which is
adjacent to Wynn's Ferrari/Maserati dealership.

Chef Febbraro is from Naples, Italy, where pizza is king so you
can only imagine how good the pizzas taste.  But, that's not
the only thing he serves well, there is the lasagna, the pan-seared
Scottish salmon, the focaccia bread, the veal Parmigiana, the
carbonara, and the osso buco just to name a few of the dishes
that you will make you want to return again and again.

As if riding down a grand entry of escalators around
this extraordinary setting isn't enough...

...wait until you see what awaits your senses.

Lakeside Restaurant sits on the Lake of Dreams....

...where they serve food that tastes as good as it looks.  Their
specialty is seafood which they get from around the world.

Next door is one of the finest steakhouses in Las Vegas called
SW Steakhouse.  First class American dining.  Mr. Wynn
does not seem to disappoint on anything.  My rib-eye was
cooked to perfection.

All the while you are dining on incredible food at Lakeside
or SW Steakhouse, you are mesmerized by the Lake of Dreams
show which is set on a 3-acre lake, with a stunning wall of
water,  and lush grounds featuring a projection of music, laser
and dream sequences with over 4,000 color-changing
 lights and special effects.

And, as always, when isn't a fabulous meal not
made even more fabulous by having dessert!?

If all of this has been a bit too tranquil for you, then  please know
that Steve Wynn has not forgotten those who want the party
to never end.  Hence, his Encore Beach Club.  Open only
Friday through Sunday, but when it's open, the party never stops.

The 60,000 square-foot club has three tiered pools with showers
in the middle which includes 1,200 square feet of outdoor patio
and dining.

There are 26 cabanas that sound the pool and come with flat-screen
televisions and refrigerators.  Or, if money is no object,  you
can get one of the eight 350 square-foot bungalows which are
two stories high with Views of the pool and The Strip.  It's
the hottest spot in Las Vegas where the stars, athletes and
mega rich come to party.  Be prepared to spend a minimum
of $1,000 to get a cabana.  Those prices go up for holiday
weekends and when special events are taking place.

It's no wonder that Prince Harry managed to spend some time
at the Encore Beach Club.

Prince Harry also managed to wander over to
Surrender which is a nightclub that also
opens up to the surrounding outdoor oasis
of the Encore Beach Club.

Surrender plays the hottest in electronic-dance, hip-hop, and rock
music.  It attracts a young, beautiful crowd and with
the chic decor and Encore Beach Club poolside
location,  it makes for an unforgettable night time
experience.

Encore is Steve Wynn's newest adventure which is located
on the Wynn Resort grounds.

Encore Tower and Suites has it's own private entry.
You must show identification to get into the
entry of the Encore.

The lobby is a welcome oasis of tranquility.

You can imagine why high profile people love
this place.  It's not only first class, but impeccable
service and privacy are top priorities here.  There
is even a Sky Casino on top of the Suites Tower
that is only accessed by key.

Rooms range from standard rooms to suites from
700 square feet to suites that are over 2,200
square feet.

The Salon Suite is over 2,200 square feet of luxury.

A large living room has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking
The Strip.

...the bedroom offers stunning views of the The Strip...

...the bathroom is magnificent..

...and there is a massage room off of the entry for your
in-room spa service.

The walk-in bar area and the powder bath are some
other nice touches that will make your time in the
Salon Suite a little piece of heaven.

Here is the entry to the Duplex where Prince
Harry stayed...

It is a magnificent two-story place...

...three bedrooms...

...all capturing the views of Vegas...

...there are two bathrooms plus a powder room...

The living room is two-story and the stunning floor-to-ceiling
windows will take your breath away.

Two kitchenettes are in the Duplex.

A massage and workout room are the perfect
way to unwind, say, after a bad night of a
billiard's game??

The glass on the windows in the living room of the Duplex
give off a reflective look which is incredibly beautiful.

If you can't stand the view while you are in bed, you can
watch tv that pops up at the end of the bed.

Night time views from the Duplex

Standing upstairs overlooking the living room.

And, of course, there is a Billiard's Room...

...where Prince Harry lost his shirt (amongst other clothing items)
while playing pool.

Well, after seeing just where Prince Harry stayed and played
in Las Vegas, I have to say, I like the way he travels.  The Wynn
and Encore Resorts are truly a destination within themselves.
You could come to this resort and never have to walk outside
or drive one of Mr. Wynn's Ferrari's or Maserati's
because everything you could possibly want to do is
at your disposal all within the Wynn and Encore Resorts.

MAY GOOD LUCK AND GOOD FORTUNE ALWAYS BE WITH YOU!
