Finding My Happily Ever After at Pelican Hill Resort

I am not surprised that I have been invited to two
weddings recently at The Resort at Pelican Hill.  And,
after staying there it doesn't surprise me that it has
been named the "#1 Resort in the United States" by
Conde Nast Traveler.  After all, it is located in
beautiful Southern California above the coastline
of Newport Beach.  What doesn't say "love" more
than an exclusive luxury resort with Pacific Ocean
views and near-perfect weather in sunny Southern
California?  It certainly speaks to me!

And, for that "home away from home" feel with a whole
lot of perks, there is nothing better than staying in one
of their Villas.  They are located in a private enclave
within the resort and offer round-the-clock butler
and concierge service.  This is one of their
four bedroom villas.

Our view from our patio overlooked the golf course.

There is a private clubhouse and pool for Villa guests
exclusively.

There are two ocean-view championship courses on
the property that were designed by Tom Fazio.  They
consist of the Ocean North and Ocean South courses.
And, Golf Magazine named their Ocean South
course as "The Top 100 Courses You Can Play".

The Italian Renaissance-inspired architecture
is accented by the Mediterranean landscaping
which compliments the panoramic ocean and golf
course views from nearly every angle of the resort.

If you can manage to leave your villa, the spa or the
golf course, you will want to gather at one of the
world's largest circular pools, known as "The
Coliseum Pool".

Take in views of the golf course and Pacific Ocean.

There are 18 luxurious cabanas that offer Bose music
system, 30-inch flate-screen HD TV, stocked mini
refrigerator,  drapes for privacy and personalized
food and beverage that can be served on your own
dining table within the cabana.

And, take a look at the sunset view from the pool!

Just walking around the resort is a delight!

Capturing the stunning sun as it sets down over the
Pacific Ocean from our patio.

And, of course, no resort is truly a great resort unless
it offers incredible meals.  Well, Pelican Hill does
not disappoint in that area.  There are so many
options from Coastal California dining to globally
inspiring dishes from Italy and the world.

Andrea Ristorante serves culinary dishes that brings
the true flavors of Italy to your plate.  Perhaps its most
sought-after dish is the Risotto in a massive Parmesan
wheel that is prepared right at your table.

And oila!  Let your mouth meet heaven!

And, we lived happily ever after...even if we weren't
the bride and groom!

WISHING YOU MANY HAPPILY EVER AFTERS!
